Did you know that over 120,000 pounds of crayons are made in the United States every day? Crayons are a petroleum-based product that should not be put into a landfill. The people at Crazy Crayons have made it their mission to keep the unwanted, broken crayons in the United States out of our landfills.
Crazy Crayons employs people with developmental disabilities, making a positive impact on community service. The staff collect, sort, and make the unwanted, broken crayons into brand new crayons!
My 4 year old son goes through many crayons since he hasn't learned to be gentle with them yet. We are going to start saving and recycling them, while teaching him to love our planet.
